The EUROGEO 2019 conference, to be held in Paris, France, next 14 and 15 March, set the theme as “Teaching Geography in challenging times, since we have access today to an unprecedented quantity of geographic information and to sophisticated ways of acquisition, manipulation and dissemination whereas we need to cope with enormous threats such as climate change, complex political and economic crises or territorial monitoring.

On this occasion, RUS Copernicus will be introduced to the geographer and cartographer community during an oral presentation focussing on the capabilities this service offers: remote access and storage of Sentinel imagery, open source software to handle and process these data on Virtual Machines, training facilities about these tools for Earth Observation applications linked to cartography, geography and GIS.
