The GEOBIA 2018 conference focusing on Geographic-Object-Based Image Analysis will take place in Montpellier, France, from 18 to 22 June 2018.
This conference will offer an opportunity for exchange and collaboration perspectives for various global Earth issues facing climate change impacts. Like the past occurrences, it will also remain a platform to present research and development on the traditional topics: theory/concept, methods/algorithm and OBIA applications.
As as side event of the conference, a PhD and Young Researchers Colloquium will be organized to help doctoral students interested by or working in the field of GeOBIA to develop an effective research and career plan in this domain.
In the frame of this colloquium, a presentation of the RUS service will be given to show the attendees the interest of the Copernicus missions with regard to their research topics and the potential of this service to support their activities.
