The 15th International Congress of the Geological Society of Greece (GSG 2019) will take place at the Harokopio University of Athens, Greece, from 22 to 24 May 2019.

Held every three years, the International Congresses of the GSG are multidisciplinary Earth science events, focusing on the broader Aegean region and its surroundings, with the view to highlighting the contribution of geosciences to the study of natural resources, natural hazards and environment and aim at bringing together geoscientists from all over the world and at providing a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their research in all fields of geosciences.

On this occasion, the RUS Copernicus Service will be presented during the poster session on 24 May (10:15-11:15 AM and 1:00-1:45 PM) at the Poster Session Hall of the Harokopio University.

We will explain how the RUS Service is supporting and enhancing the uptake of Copernicus data for EU residents, providing not only a powerful computational environment in the form of Virtual Machines, but also Earth observation expertise for application-specific data selection, processing and visualization. We will also introduce our extensive training programme open to any kind of user from students to decision-makers and professionals.
