The 11th ESA Training course on Earth Observation is organized as a remote event by the European Space Agency (ESA) in cooperation with the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST). It aims at promoting and disseminating Earth Observation (EO) technologies in various scientific and industrial fields, providing theoretical information and practical exercises on ESA and Copernicus datasets.
The topics covered will include SAR remote sensing for land classification, as well as SAR and optical remote sensing for marine and atmospheric applications.
The RUS training team will contribute to this event providing 4 different processing exercises to demonstrate the use of the SNAP (Sentinels Application Platform) toolbox and the capabilities offered by the RUS environment to access, download, analyse, and visualize Sentinel data.
