ISAE-SUPAERO, a leading aerospace engineering school located in Toulouse, France, will host on 26 February 2020 a training session given by a RUS Copernicus expert about the use of Sentinel-5P data for atmosphere quality assessment.
Sentinel-5P was launched in October 2017 with the main purpose is to screen the Earth’s atmosphere and quantify different pollutants with a great accuracy and spatial resolution.
During the half day hands-on session, the attendees will learn to monitor both daily pollution and polluting events based on Sentinel-5P products. They will be granted the access to a RUS Virtual Machine from their own laptop to exploit the open-source toolboxes available in the RUS environment -more particularly the specifically designed BEAT Open Toolbox- to download and process Sentinel imagery.
Attendance is free but limited to to the ISAE-SUPAERO students.
