The Trans-Atlantic Training (TAT) initiative aims at training students and early-career scientists in the Earth observation field, with an emphasis on remote sensing of land-cover changes and ecosystem dynamics.

The next session, TAT 2018, to be held between 7 and 11 June 2018 at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, will deal with the Integration of Radar and Optical Remote Sensing in Studying Land Cover/Land Use Change.

In the frame of this event, two hands-on sessions will be given by RUS team members about:

  • The use of Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-3 over forested areas (7 June)
  • The use of Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 for crop mapping (8 June).
