This webinar will introduce our powerful environment. We will demonstrate how to access the RUS Copernicus Service and how to download, process, analyse and visualize the free data acquired by the Sentinel satellites.

You will be introduced to the Sentinel-1 mission and its characteristics. Moreover, we will focus on the use of snappy (SNAP Python package), a Python module allowing to access the SNAP Java API, to process Sentinel data in a programming environment.

It is recommended to have a basic knowledge of SAR concepts (i.e. calibration, speckle filtering) and a basic-intermediate knowledge of Python would be an advantage.
